A Glorious Ability

“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.  If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to Whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11, NKJV

How many ministers today fail to glorify God through Jesus Christ because they are too drunk on the adoration of their flock?  As a minister, if the focus of your congregants’ praise is how great their you are, they you probably lacked the proper focus in your abilities–which is the glorification of God through Jesus Christ, not yourself.

When properly applied, ministerial abilities supplied by God will always point back to Himself through the glorification of Christ, whom is granted all glory and dominion forever and ever.  O’ man of God, where is your focus today?
